CTR is pleased to announce that it was the recipient of the following three awards at the recent 2017 Carrier Transicold Dealership Meeting, held in Las Vegas, NV:

Platinum Award, Next Level2

CTR was rated by Carrier Transicold, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (UTC) as a Platinum level dealership, based on its high level of sales, technical expertise and service.

"This is the highest rating that a dealership can obtain and is a reflection of all of the hard work that CTR's employees perform day in and day out", states Will Wiebe, Vice-President.

Quota Buster and Triple Double Sales Awards

CTR exceeded its sales quotas in the truck, trailer and parts categories by more than 10%! This qualified CTR for both the Quota Buster and Triple Double Awards.

CTR was one of only five dealers across North America to receive all three awards! 

Don Harvey, President, states "We are fortunate to have such a great group of employees who are committed to exceptional customer service! These are truly team awards to be shared by all staff."

Earth Day is April 22nd! In honor of this special day we have a promotion starting today - April 22 on our TOP 4 eco-friendly and biodegradable products!

``Wonderful trip to Brandon, we had an awesome 30 person dinner, outdoor egg hunt for the little ones and an indoor scavenger hunt. It was awesome!``

Tim:

“On Easter Sunday I heard the crazy excited scream of my son and daughter as they were in the kitchen. They had just finished their Easter Egg gift opening and low and behold there a huge rabbit in our backyard. My son exclaims, "Look Daddy. The Easter Bunny wanted to make sure that Sarah and I had found all of our surprises"! And my  favorite childhood Easter memory...We used to go for dinner at my Grandparents place every Easter. The best part was the intense "Ping Pong Hockey" games between my 2 older brothers, my cousins and myself. Holes in our jeans and bleeding kneecaps always meant we had a great Easter time!”

Last week our Northern Business Development Manager Pat Hebert and Vice President Will Wiebe traveled to Coral Harbour, Rankin Inlet and Baker Lake in Nunavut. They had an awesome experience, it was a great opportunity to see the Northern way of life. Will described the people he met as "extremely kind, communial and hard-working". The weather was pretty decent, they managed to go on a week where it was -30, little wind and no blizzards! Balmy conditions for the North ;)

Thank you to all who took the time to meet with Pat and Will. They had a great time and appreciate your hospitality. We are hoping to get to Nunavut for yearly visits going forward.

Last night we celebrated CTR's longest standing employees....

Merv Enns and Richard Malegus have been with CTR for 25 years! We are very fortunate to have such loyal and dedicated employees on our team! Congratulations to Merv and Richard on your accomplishments and contributions over the years. We appreciation your hard work.

Introducing our Northern Team!  Pat Hebert, Mike Aney, Sean Cann, Nick Young and Ron Lavallee!

What do we do and who do we serve?

We source absolutely anything for the remote Northern communities. The majority of our customers reside in the Kivalliq region.

We’ve sourced vehicles, parts, tools, food, sports gear, household items, clothing, supplies and the list goes on….we’ve even sourced coffins, fish tanks, furniture and a swimming pool!  Who knew???

How long have we been around?

We’ve been serving the North for over 20 years.  Each year our Northern branch continues to grow and last year was our most successful year yet! We are proud to say we successfully shipped 9 sea lifts.

Who’s Who?

Pat Hebert – Northern Business Development Manager

Pat leads the team and is the primary source of contact. With the help of Mike Aney and Ron Lavallee the three have become sourcing experts. Pat has been with CTR for almost three years; he started off in internal sales for our auto / industrial branch and then moved to strictly Northern needs over a year ago.  Previous to CTR Pat was a licensed mechanic and general contractor so he has a great understanding of the North’s mechanical and constructional needs.  

Mike Aney - Parts Specialist

Mike has been with CTR for almost 5 years and for the last 18 months he’s been transferring from the auto / industrial internal sales team to predominately the Northern team.  There are a few reasons for the gradual shift; time of year, spike in Northern needs and of course the learning curve. Mike has shown flexibility and ambition and supports Pat’s skills nicely. They make a great team!

Sean Cann – Shipping & Inventory Specialist

Sean is going on 2 years with CTR and started off in operations such as parts picking, inventory receiving and now he runs the shipping department for the entire company.  Sean was a huge support system and team member in the 2016 sea lift season and we are excited to have him on board for another fantastic year.

Nick Young – Operations Manager for CTR Auto / Industrial

Nick started in internal sales and was promoted to operations manager last year.  Nick’s knowledge of operational needs is a huge help to the Northern team. Nick is able to allocate resources and problem solve when the Northern group needs more support during the peak of the season. Nick works for his team, with his team and for the Northern communities.

Ron Lavallee – Parts Specialist

Ron is our newest member to the Northern team! He has been with CTR for a year now and started with dispatch before moving into the exciting world of automotive and industrial supply sourcing! Ron has taken a recent interest in working with the guys on the Northern needs and we are excited to have him on-board!

Well this is a first!!!

Jon Enns and Brandon Storm congratulated fellow technician Kevin Reutlinger by wrapping his tool box and tool bag in bright pink paper!!! Why you ask?!

Kevin is a proud new papa to a brand new baby girl!!!
