Wednesday June 24^th was a busy day on Wall Street! As CTR hosts their 2^ND Annual Customer Appreciation Open House & Children’s Hospital Fundraiser and what a success!

Event highlights included 13 supplier booths, warehouse tours, live music and entertainment, vintage cars and motor cross bike displays, 20% off the entire store, an iPad door prize, a grand prize draw, an amazing silent auction – every prize valued over $400! Even the larger than life Dr. Goodbear participated in the event.

The event kicked off at 11:00 am, the sun was shining, the staff and suppliers were smiling and the customers piled in! Guests who came through registration were given a grab bag of give-a-ways and they were given a passport in which they were asked to take a trip around the world of CTR. Cheryl Wiebe provided music and entertainment while guests enjoyed lunch and refreshments.

Trish Seens who looks after marketing for CTR is still beaming from ear to ear:

“Our event mission was to show our customers how much they are valued and we wanted them to know we appreciate the support and loyalty they show our company. Our goal was to give them a memorable experience and I feel we were successful in our efforts! I am very proud to announce that we will be giving the Children’s Hospital Foundation a cheque for $4100! We DOUBLED what was raised last year, just incredible!”

The fantastic day was the result of CTR’s employees, customers, suppliers and sponsors. CTR would like to give a huge thank you for everyone’s hard work and generosity. Carrier Transicold was the event’s leading sponsor and Carrier’s Field Service Engineer Tracy Stromberg joined the CTR crew for their big day:

“The event was filled with great people and the great environment must have had something to do with the cheerful moods…or maybe it was the awesome prizes! I had a blast and I look forward to attending next year!”
